CTOnews.com, September 27 (Xinhua)-- Bethesda's gaming blockbuster Starry Sky is expected to generate nearly $1 billion (CTOnews.com Note: currently about 7.31 billion yuan), according to recently leaked documents from Xbox. This income covers a four-year period, with an estimated $600 million in the first year and $215 million in the second year. The figures for the third and fourth years gradually declined, to $50 million and $35 million, respectively.

Although these predictions were originally based on the game's original release in fiscal year 2021, Bethesda's expectations can still be understood through this forecast. So far, Starry Sky has attracted more than 1000 million players, and even assuming that only half of the players bought a $70 basic game, it is equivalent to $350 million in revenue. Given the additional revenue from late support and luxury sales, Bethesda is likely to exceed its expectations.

As Bethesda's first new IP in 25 years, it remains to be seen whether Starry Sky can be as successful in business and word-of-mouth as "Ancient Scroll" and "radiation".
