Shulou(Shulou.com)11/24 Report--
CTOnews.com September 27, YouTuber @RedGamingTech said AMD will launch its Ryzen 8000 series of "Zen 5" processors in the second quarter of 2024.
AMD has previously confirmed that the next-generation product with Zen 5 and Navi 3.5 cores will be released sometime next year, but did not provide further details.
It is said that the new generation of cores will bring 20-30% IPC improvement, but the frequency may be reduced by 200-300MHz compared to Ryzen 7000 processors.
He also claims that the new generation of processors will be equipped with more L1 cache, while L2 and L3 may remain unchanged. These chips will retain the AM5 platform and feature a "low to medium memory speed boost."
In addition, he confirmed that the high-end SKUs in the next-generation Ryzen 8000 series will remain the 16-core 32-thread design, while the X3D version will be available in the second half of next year, although the exact ETA remains a mystery.
CTOnews.com reminds that AMD has not released any specific information about Ryzen 8000, so these revelations are for reference only. Based on AMD convention speculation, the series of processors may be unveiled at CES 2024 in January.
