This is the eighth chip mass-produced by the company since its establishment in 2017, and it is also the first mass-produced PCIe 5.0enterprise-level domestic master, Yingrong said.

According to reports, British tough Technology YR S900 uses PCIe 5.0interface, widely supports the mainstream NAND in the market, can be configured with 16 or 18 channels, highly adapts to Yangtze River storage particles, and adopts open source RISC-V architecture.

YR S900 uses 4-channel PCIe 5.0interface, supports NVMe 2.0and adopts multi-core CPU parallel command processing mode, which can take advantage of the bandwidth of PCIe 5.0.The official test data attached to CTOnews.com are as follows:

In addition, the YR S900 uses the third-generation ECC error correction engine developed by Yingrong Technology, collaborative optimization of 4K LDPC codec and digital signal processing technology, and a new hybrid adaptive error correction scheme to provide stronger error correction capability and shorter data processing delay for TLC and QLC NAND. With Armor XL-FLASH, the official measured 4K random read delay can be as low as 10us.

YR S900 also supports FDP (Flexible Data Placement), SR-IOV hardware virtualization technology, CMB and other features; the introduction of FDP function helps to flexibly write data, improve steady-state random write performance, and greatly reduce write amplification, and WAF can even be close to 1 in specific applications. The import of FDP function requires less ecosystem support, and there is no restriction on sequential writes. During the use of standard data center SSD, you can flexibly configure to turn FDP on or off.

In addition, the YR S900 supports a variety of algorithms such as data encryption and user authentication, as well as advanced key management designs that fully adapt to the authentication and key management standards required in the security protocols and data modules (SPDM) issued by the distributed Management Task Force (DMTF).
