After disassembling iPhone 15 Pro, TechInsights found the DRAM chip of model A3101, which uses Meguiar's revolutionary D1 β LPDDR5 16 Gb DRAM chip, code name Y52P die.

What distinguishes the chip lies not only in its advanced technology, but also in its smaller physical size. In addition, compared with its previous product LPDDR5/5X D1 α 16 Gb chip, its density increases significantly.

Meguiar bypassed extreme Ultraviolet Lithography (EUVL) in producing D1 β DRAM chips.

CTOnews.com Note: EUVL is a competitor such as memory maker Samsung and SK Hynix, and the technology used on DRAM is seen as an important driver of reducing the DRAM process to less than 15nm.

Without using EUVL technology, Meguiar has successfully developed and manufactured D1zMagel D1 α and the current D1 β DRAM chip, which exceeds people's expectations.
