CTOnews.com September 27 news, BYD Electronics announced on August 28, the company and the seller Jiepu Circuit (Singapore) Limited entered into an acquisition framework agreement, pursuant to which the seller conditionally agreed to sell, and the company conditionally agreed (by itself or its designated affiliates) to acquire Juno Newco Target Holdco Singapore Pte. Ltd. 100% equity interest in (target company).

Today, BYD Electronics announced on the Hong Kong Stock Exchange that Jeep Circuit (Singapore) agreed to BYD Electronics to acquire the seller's product manufacturing business in Chengdu and Wuxi for about RMB 15.8 billion (about US $2.2 billion), including the parts manufacturing business of existing customers.

The seller conditionally agreed to sell, and BYD Electronics conditionally agreed to acquire 100 per cent of the target shares and Singapore assets, the announcement said. The Target Business will be transferred to the Target Group after the restructuring and includes the mobile electronics manufacturing business of the Vendor Group, which produces components for consumer electronics products and is mainly located in Chengdu and Wuxi.
