Shulou(Shulou.com)11/24 Report--

Thanks to CTOnews.com netizens, soft media users 1520111, Alejandro86 for the delivery of clues! CTOnews.com, September 26 (Xinhua)-- in June this year, a Bloomberg report showed that Spotify has named the HiFi level "Supremium". This news has finally been confirmed.

Reddit user @ Hypixely has found new evidence of HiFi audio in the latest version of the Spotify code, but it may cost you $19.99 a month to enjoy it.

The code shows that Spotify will introduce a new Supremium-level subscription service, which Spotify internally calls "Nemo", while $19.99 may just be a placeholder or it may be true.

The Supremium program includes:

24bit lossless music (it seems they are not going to call it HiFi), claiming that its "technology has no lag or delay"

Ability to generate playlists using AI

You can listen to audiobooks for 30 hours a month, but "only individual, double and family plan subscribers can enjoy audiobooks" (20 hours per month for ordinary advanced accounts)

Be able to provide users with the content they need according to mood, activity and genre

Advanced advanced mixing tools, including:

-customize the order of playlists through BPM beats or rhythms, or use "smart order" to reconcile the rhythm to achieve "best sequence".

-enable smooth transition and use set cue points to achieve seamless transition between audio or tracks

-filter songs in the playlist by mood or genre

Sound check: allows you to "better understand your music habits" and find out which remixes are suitable for "unique you".

In fact, Spotify had the idea of supporting HiFi-level audio two years ago, but delayed the launch of the new service because of what they called "the industry has changed and we have to adapt."

Gustav S ö derstr ö m, co-president of Spotify, said the level was still being launched, but they wanted to "achieve it in a way that makes sense to us and our audience."

"at Spotify, we will continue to reflect and iterate to improve our products and provide value to our users," said CJ Stanley, a spokesman for Spotify. "but we will not comment on speculation about possible new features and timing, and there is nothing new to share at the moment."

Given that Spotify's current Premium subscription plan is $10.99, it's not clear that "Supremium" subscriptions with HiFi audio, AI playlists and other features will be able to support the monthly price of $19.99. After all, both Apple Music and Amazon Music already provide lossless audio support at no extra cost.
