CTOnews.com Sept. 26, maintenance team iFixit recently dismantled Apple's top model, the iPhone 15 Pro Max, and said after disassembling that the overall interior design is similar to the iPhone 14 Pro Max, but with a newly designed middle frame, the rear glass panel can be removed more easily.

IFixit demonstrated the iPhone 15 Pro Max telephoto lens and four-prism system during disassembly, which can achieve 5x optical zoom.

CTOnews.com previously reported that only if you look at CMOS, telephoto and ToF have been changed, and the main shot, ultra-wide angle, and front position remain the same, which iFixit confirmed during disassembly.

IFixit said that iPhone 15 Pro Max has a logic board similar to iPhone 15 Pro. In addition to the A17 Pro chip, the disassembly confirmed that the device was equipped with Qualcomm's Snapdragon X70 modem, which was reported to achieve the expected faster 5G speed.

IFixit gave the iPhone 15 Pro Max a comprehensive score of 4 (out of 10, the higher the score means easier to repair). The main reason for the lower score is that Apple iPhone needs to match parts, which affects users' self-maintenance and independent repair shop maintenance.
