Chinese companies have become the top suppliers of the car screen market in the first half of this year, accounting for 45.3 per cent of the market, the report said. After occupying the dominant position in the TV and smartphone screen market, Chinese companies are expanding their dominant position in the automobile screen industry.

By comparison, ten years ago, Chinese companies accounted for 7.1% of the global market for on-board screens. Since then, with the trend that cars are becoming more intelligent and connected to the Internet, their market share has risen in a straight line. In the 1920s, Chinese enterprises won 35.3%, 41.7% and 46.0% market share respectively from 2020 to 2022.

Specifically, BOE and Tianma contributed the most to the growth of this scale, with a combined share of 30.7%. Among them, BOE is also the only panel supplier with a market share of more than 15%.

At the same time, Tenma has a 24% share of the market for car dashboard displays.

The 42.2-inch all-in-one screen has a resolution of 10 kilograms and claims to support the highest resolution of gauge-level touch integration. Its main driving area integrates an off-screen camera and intelligent algorithm, and built-in deep learning and AI technology, which can judge the driver's drowsiness, fatigue, phone calls and other abnormal state, and carry out real-time early warning.

The screen supports 3D touch feedback technology, buttons, slides, knobs for UI demand design, officials said that "can achieve deep interaction of touch blind operation."
