The first trailer of the domestic animated film "running to the Moon" has been announced and is expected to be released in the summer of 2024, CTOnews.com reported on September 25.

CTOnews.com learned from the official that "running to the Moon" was produced by Shanghai Baiqianbao and Shanghai Film Group Marine Pictures, with Xiangzi as the director and Huang Xiong as the producer. The theme song "Wei Tian's Life" is adapted from "Song of the Book of songs", sung by Gong Linna.

"running to the Moon" is a 3D animated film with a combination of ancient science fiction and Chinese mythology. Based on the Chinese folklore "Chang'e running to the Moon" as a template, it tells the story of a girl named Chang'e who took part in the selection of an ancient astronaut.

The film has been put on record in 2021, the project number is "Shadow Action preparation word (2021) No. 074", and the title of the film is "the King of Heaven's Choice of running to the Moon".
