CTOnews.com Sept. 24, a VR enthusiast named Luna recently shared a picture on X, which they said was sent to them by an employee of GameStop.

The picture shows a promotional card showing that Quest 3 will be shipped on October 10. The picture also contains information about the store's inventory system, showing two SKU, one priced at $500 (CTOnews.com Note: currently about 3650 yuan) and the other priced at $650 (currently about 4745 yuan). The October 10 shipping date also appeared on the list of Amazon Canada that was removed in August.

When Meta announced Quest 3 in June, it confirmed that the basic version would have storage space for 128GB and would be priced at $500. The company also said there would be a version with higher storage capacity, but did not say how much storage space it would have or how much it would cost.

The GameStop inventory system shows (if true) that this high-end version will be priced at $650, but how much storage space will it have?

Quest 2 currently offers two versions of storage capacity, $300 for 128GB and $350 for 256GB (initially $400). The larger price difference between the two versions of Quest 3 indicates that higher-level versions will have more storage space than 256GB, possibly 512GB. Of course, it could be just the 256GB, but it comes with accessories like the previously exposed Elite Strap headwear or Charging Dock charging base.

When announcing Quest 3, Meta said that due to the use of pancake flat lenses, the head display is 40% thinner than the previous generation, and the performance of the GPU is more than doubled, and it has a two-color camera and depth sensor, which can achieve mixed reality and scene understanding.

Meta is expected to open reservations for Quest 3 at its annual Connect conference on Wednesday and reveal more about the specifications and details of the new head show, when CTOnews.com will bring more details.
