CTOnews.com September 24 news, Thai Prime Minister Saita said on September 24 that Thailand is expected to receive at least $5 billion (CTOnews.com Note: about 36.5 billion yuan) investment from Tesla, Google and Microsoft.

"Tesla will study electric vehicle production facilities, while Microsoft and Google will consider setting up data centers," said Tuyuan Pixabay Sita. He did not specify whether the $5 billion was a joint investment or a separate investment by individual companies.

New foreign investment will boost Thailand's flagging economy, which is expected to grow 2.8 per cent this year, lower than previously expected, due to weak exports.
