CTOnews.com, Sept. 23, source @ Feiwei posted Weibo yesterday, saying that if you only watch CMOS, Apple's iPhone 15 Pro Max has the same main camera, wide angle and front camera as iPhone 14 Pro Max, but modified telephoto and ToF.

CMOS for iPhone 15 Pro Max:

Main photo: IMX803 (same generation, IMX703 generation before last)

Super wide angle: IMX633 (the same generation before last, the previous generation IMX772)

Telephoto: IMX913? (previous generation IMX713)

Front: IMX714 (the same generation, the previous generation IMX514)

ToF:IMX591? (previous generation IMX590)

Dart: if you only look at CMOS, telephoto and ToF have been changed, and the main shot, ultra-wide angle and front position remain the same.

All of the above sensors are from Sony, and the 4800-megapixel camera uses the IMX 803 on the iPhone 14 Pro Max. Given the costs associated with Apple's new sensors each year, Apple's decision to return to the optical hardware of the previous generation is understandable.
