CTOnews.com September 23 news, Guo Mingxi based on the initial sales of iPhone 15, iPhone 15 Pro, think Apple's iPhone business revenue and profit in the fourth quarter of 2023 will be better than expected, better product portfolio and higher shipments, easy to achieve year-on-year growth.

Guo Mingxi maintained his previous estimate in the newsletter, believing that Apple iPhone 15 models shipped 80 million units in the second half of 2023, while iPhone 14 series models shipped 76 million units in the second half of 2022.

Based on order data for telephoto camera modules, the biggest bottleneck in the supply chain, iPhone 15 Pro Max orders rose to 35 million units this year (compared with 28 million units shipped last year by 14 Pro Max, up 25% year-on-year), which is the biggest driver for iPhone business growth in Q23.

The iPhone 15 Plus is expected to be low, so it may increase orders because sales results are not so bad.

Both the iPhone 15 and 15 Pro are lower than expected, and if Apple doesn't cut prices, it could cut orders.
