CTOnews.com Sept. 22, after Apple's launch, Bloomberg's Mark Gurman revealed that the lossless audio of Apple's Vision Pro headset is currently limited to USB-C AirPods Pro 2 headphones. Now, Apple executives have responded.

▲ source Apple's official website, Ron Huang, vice president of Apple Sensor and connection, revealed in an interview with YouTube anchor Brian Tong that the H2 chip in USB-C AirPods Pro supports the wireless frequency in the 5GHz band to achieve ultra-low latency and less interference, while the H2 chip in AirPods Pro 2 with a Lightning shell is limited to the 2.4GHz band.

He said that it is equipped with this 5GHz band, so that the updated AirPods Pro 2 can support Vision Pro lossless audio.

CTOnews.com previously reported that the new AirPods Pro 2, which uses USB-C, has been upgraded to IP54 level (the original version is not dustproof, only IPX4 water-resistant). In addition, Apple says it will implement lossless audio with ultra-low latency, providing the perfect TWS solution through Apple Vision Pro.

Apple CEO Cook said at the Apple fall launch event this month that developers are very excited about the Vision Pro head, which will be available early next year as planned.
