According to reports, this patch will bring a "magic mirror" in the player's "camp". Players can change the appearance, voice and pronoun of Tav anytime and anywhere, but cannot change the appearance of race, size, or character of origin. Studio Larian announced that the patch was a "big fix" and that the patch was launched a day later than expected to ensure that it passed the test.

On September 18, Larian released a fourth hot fix, which was returned because it led to a new crash and was re-pushed later in the day.
