CTOnews.com, September 22 (Xinhua)-- Apple today updated its supporting documentation, saying that the color of the titanium frame may be changed after being stained with fingerprints on the iPhone 15 Pro and iPhone 15 Pro Max models.

But Apple officials say the discoloration is not permanent and can be erased like the previous iPhone to restore a clean surface.

For iPhone 15 Pro and iPhone 15 Pro Max, the grease on the skin may temporarily change the color of the frame, and wiping your iPhone with a soft, slightly wet, lint-free cloth will restore your iPhone to its original appearance.

Apple officials say the steps to clean up iPhone are as follows:

If iPhone comes into contact with substances that may cause stains or other damage (such as dirt or sand, ink, cosmetics, soap, detergents, sour or acidic foods or lotions), clean immediately. Please follow the following guidelines when cleaning:

Unplug all cables and power off the iPhone.

Use a slightly wet velvet-free cloth (such as lens cloth).

Avoid dampness at the opening.

Do not use cleaning products unless instructed to do so on the instructions for disinfecting iPhone.

Do not use compressed air.

Anti-oil and anti-fingerprint coating was used in iPhone. Cleaning products and abrasive materials will wear the coating and may scratch iPhone.
