CTOnews.com, September 21 (Xinhua)-- Wang Laichun, chairman of Lixun Precision, revealed in an interview that Lixun produced three iPhone 15 models for Apple this year, which has doubled in the past year, thepaper.cn reported. She also revealed an important message that the company is preparing for the production of the Apple Touxian Apple Vision Pro, which goes on sale early next year.

Wang Laichun said that Lixun Precision currently provides Apple with development and manufacturing services for products such as iPhone,Apple Watch,AirPods and Apple Vision Pro, providing integrated solutions ranging from a wide range of components and modules to machine system assembly. She said that the company has gradually grown into a "handsome bird" in the process of working with top companies such as Apple.

Wang Laichun said that at present, Lixun Precision continues to expand production capacity in China to meet Apple's needs. Last year, the company built a new park in Kunshan to support the development and mass production of iPhone. She recalls that when the company received its first business in 2011, the company had only 500 employees serving Apple, and now, at this year's peak, the company employs more than 340000 people worldwide.

CTOnews.com noted that Wang Laichun also specifically mentioned the experience of working with Apple on AirPods. She said that January 2017 was the Lunar New year, and the company's team received a request from Apple to urgently evaluate the production quotation demand for AirPods and related preparations. This is the first time for the company to come into contact with such a small and complex system assembly product, the team is very cautious, but also have a lot of concerns. Customers are also well aware of the complexity of the products, and arranged the planning, quality, engineering and other teams to communicate with the company for many days, from the early plant planning to the process and equipment of the products, as well as the supply chain and other matters needing attention. Through the unremitting efforts of the team, the company finally won the project and completed the erection and verification of the first production line with a length of more than 1, 000 meters in just two months. The line was set up in May of that year, and the goods were shipped smoothly in July. The mission of shipping 1 million sets has been completed by November.

Wang Laichun said that the deep cooperation over the years has created a high degree of tacit understanding and trust between the two sides. Currently, Lixun is preparing for the production of Apple's first head display Apple Vision Pro, which goes on sale next year, which is an innovative product that integrates virtual reality (VR) and augmented reality (AR) functions.

Wang Laichun also revealed that the company took the lead in joining Apple's supplier clean energy program, promising to ensure that 100% of Apple's products are produced using clean energy through actions such as self-built roof photovoltaic, direct purchase of green power, procurement of green permits, and green energy investment. In addition, the company is deeply involved in Apple's quality education and training programs, such as automation technician training program, line manager program, apprenticeship program, personal leadership, education and development of disabled employees, and so on.
