Self-developed NPU chip Microsoft has been developing its own artificial intelligence chip, hoping to compete with Nvidia in the future. Microsoft's work in this area may also involve pushing OEM manufacturers to launch laptops with neural processing unit (NPU) chips for AI tasks and future versions of Windows.

Mehdi, who adjusts within the Windows team, says he is also actively adjusting the way he works internally, paying more attention to artificial intelligence and Microsoft's Copilot technology.
