Is the day waiting in anxiety a kind of life practice?

The author's SAP project will end as planned at the end of January 2019, which means I need to find the project again. The author hopes that before the Spring Festival, we can find the next project, so that we can have a steady and stable Spring Festival. With the author's character and mentality, the author really does not want to celebrate the New year in an uncertain state, this will be a very bad life experience!

There are still several principles for the author to find the SAP project.

Bottom line principle: to be a person and do things, we must have a bottom line. To do SAP projects, we also need to have a bottom line. The SAP consulting industry is declining because some companies and people in the industry have lost their principles and bottom line, making it difficult for the whole industry to mix up. For the rate on the project, the author has set the bottom line. As long as the project below the bottom line, will not contact headhunters, so as not to waste everyone's time. It is better to lack than to abuse, and it is a responsible attitude for project customers and for themselves.

Regional principle: because the home is in Suzhou, there are requirements for the location of the next project, giving priority to projects in the Yangtze River Delta region, such as Shanghai, Suzhou, Wuxi, Hangzhou, Ningbo, Nanjing and other places, can be considered. As for Beijing, Tianjin, Hebei, Pearl River Delta, western and other projects, unless it is a short-term business trip, it will not be given priority; unless there is no way out as a last resort, it will be considered. Due to the characteristics of the industry, many peers need to travel around the country and even around the world. For some colleagues with families and children, long-distance travel is not a good thing. So to be able to do a project at home or in a city not far from home, it is convenient to take care of the family, which is also an attitude towards the person in charge of the family.

As soon as New Year's Day passed, I began my search for a new project. The author thought, I started looking for a project a month in advance, and there should be enough time. You can't find it for a month, can you?!

First of all, communicate deeply with SAP, the boss of the current project, to explore the possibility of continuing cooperation in the New year. Before contacting the outside world, the author approached Wen Shen privately and wanted to listen to his advice. The answer is that there is no project on hand, but you can keep in touch with me. If you have a need for a project, you will think of me and find me as soon as possible. For this answer, the author is prepared psychologically. In recent years, the customer side has been implementing the SAP project within the group, which also gives many colleagues, including the author, project opportunities. Today, many overseas factories in the Asia-Pacific region have implemented the SAP system, so there are few project opportunities, and the follow-up clients' own internal implementation team can cope with it, and there may be few opportunities to outsource to outside consultants.

Secondly, I contacted a colleague who had worked on a project together before. He has said before that he hopes to have the opportunity to cooperate with me, and he said that he can give a rate which is much higher than the market price. New Year's Day sent him Wechat before, and the reply was that there was no demand for logistics modules at present, only the needs of ABAP development consultants. Although the author is looking forward to the cooperation with him, I dare not pin all my hopes on him. With his sincerity, what he said before should not be polite, so far I still think so.

Of course, contact with many headhunters from the outside world is also essential! So in the first week of January, I paid attention to the demand information in the market. Headhunters in many WeChat groups are desperately advertising and placing project requirements information. For so many projects, of course, the author will not be hungry. In the first week of January, based on the principle of finding projects by myself, the author notes several projects:

WM requirements for a global project in Kunshan. It's great that the project is located in Kunshan. So after seeing the headhunter send the recruitment information, contact the other party immediately, and submit the resume after the preliminary communication.

MMWM requirements for a global project in Shanghai. After preliminary communication with headhunters, I sent my resume.

QM requirements for a remote project in North America. After preliminary communication with headhunters, I sent my resume. Of course, the whole project is what the author wants to do. Telecommuting means that you can work from home without having to go to other places. It is really cool to win this project.

Time flies, two weeks have passed in a flash, but there are no formal interviews for the above three projects! During this period, the author kept in close contact with headhunters and asked them regularly what their status was. In the first week, the author can still make up his mind. After all, the current project ends at the end of the month, so there is no need to be in such a hurry. To the second week, that is, around January 15, the author can no longer be so calm! I am not in the mood to read the articles on the official account of Wechat as before, let alone in the mood to read books. Of course, the author has been writing for many years, and I am not in the mood at all at this time! The pace of life is starting to get a little flustered! This kind of economic burden is heavy, I do not know when the next project will be landed, the sense of unpredictable instability about the future, anxiety is really very uncomfortable! I have become an ant on a hot pot!

Now that I have chosen to be a freelancer, I should be psychologically prepared for this unstable job. This kind of anxiety in short-term waiting can be regarded as spiritual practice, the author comforts himself.
