Liangfeng products and R & D VP, Tencent Cloud TVP teacher Han Lei believes that Cloud Studio provides a convenient cloud development environment for developers and simplifies the download and installation process of IDE, but there is still a lot of room for growth in user experience and product details. For example, when dealing with the outer chain, going back to the previous page will appear blank and so on. In addition, because Cloud Studio and CODING are used on two different websites, the services between the platforms are not fully connected, which will still cause trouble for users.

Tan Mingkui, a professor and director of the computing center of South China University of Technology and a teacher of Tencent Cloud TVP, has worked in colleges and universities for many years. He first affirms Cloud Studio's ability of cross-platform and multi-person cooperation, and then points out the problem of limited workspace on the platform. Although multiple spaces can be created, the current platform does not support the parallel use of multiple spaces, which may lead to editing files such as Word or PPT on the host. You need to switch between different workspaces frequently. In addition, although the platform supports the installation of plug-ins, it will encounter situations that cannot be used or installed. It is recommended that the platform increase the compatibility check of plug-ins to ensure that the plug-ins are compatible with the current version. At the same time, instructions and examples of the plug-in are provided to help users make better use of the plug-in.

Cheng Chao, a senior R & D management expert and teacher of Tencent Cloud TVP, explained his thinking from the perspective of security. Teacher Cheng Chao believes that putting the core code on the public network is an extremely risky thing. Code editing in Cloud Studio suggests that the product team can ensure the security of user code by adding watermarks, restricting code downloads and other functions. In addition, teacher Cheng Chao stressed that the choice of IDE kernel is different due to different user habits and needs, which is very important for programmers, including the evolution of container scheduling and the access of business scenarios. Su Zhenwei, founder and chief architect of Shengpai Network and teacher of Tencent Cloud TVP, came straight to the point and started full-fire complaints. Su Zhenwei, a teacher with sharp language but sincere content, put forward a lot of constructive suggestions. For example, in terms of product operation and product promotion, he believes that both official website design and new function experience are not only polished on the technical side, which is now very perfect, but needs to be closer to the user end. At the same time, he pointed out that Cloud Studio's Demo is very important for developers and users, and the input-output ratio is very high, but the current Cloud Studio plug-in templates are few and the quality is low. Therefore, it is suggested that the product team should strengthen the construction of plug-in templates and improve the quality to meet the needs of developers.

The guest who complained about the finale, the front-end technical expert, Tencent Cloud TVP Desert Qiu teacher "tearing the code" on the scene, demonstrated the project on Cloud Studio, which was very exciting, and the questions mentioned were also a direct hit to the pain point. Wang Shengjie, Product Director of Tencent Cloud Cloud Studio, first responded to the guests' complaints as a whole, saying that many of the product pain points pointed out by the guests were internally recognized and urgently needed to be resolved, and Cloud Studio needs to be constantly polished, optimized and improved at both the product level and the operation level. We have always attached great importance to user feedback and tried our best to solve various problems in the use of products for users, and the multi-person cooperation ability of Cloud Studio was born under the guidance of this concept. Ding Ning, director of product operations of Tencent Cloud CODING, answered questions about the use of CloudStudio on two different websites from an operational point of view. This is due to product positioning considerations. At present, there are two versions of CloudStudio. One version is CloudStudio.net, which is mainly for pan-developers, focusing on content operation, application sharing, and interest training. The other is Web IDE in the developer product of Tencent Cloud's official website, which is aimed at professional developers and connects with other cloud products. The two versions are aimed at all kinds of developer groups, cover different development scenarios, and will be driven by AI capabilities in the future, so as to achieve sustained and healthy user growth and word-of-mouth.

Yang Subo, technical director of Tencent Cloud Cloud Studio, responded to guests' questions from a technical level. For example, in terms of security, in order to prevent developers from downloading or copying code, the product has features such as screen watermarking, no downloading, copying and so on. We attach great importance to user security, but at present, this capability is not open to C-end users because of product planning problems. In addition, different languages have different debug run plug-ins, users can install plug-ins according to their own needs, for Rust language we have built-in debug run plug-ins, can be used out of the box.

Wu Hongxu, a senior software engineer at Tencent Cloud Cloud Studio, responded in detail to the guests' questions, such as the multi-IDE kernel issue mentioned by teacher Cheng Chao, which has been paid close attention to internally, because many products are faced with this problem. At present, Cloud Studio initially supports the use of SSH capabilities, directly connected to the IDE kernel for development, but the form is not perfect, this aspect is being actively improved. At the same time, Wu Hongxu said that in the past development iterations, we mainly focused on capacity building and paving, but lacked in terms of quality and user experience. We will continue to improve user feedback and strive to improve product quality, including paying attention to text details, enhancing the accuracy of professional vocabulary and text display, and bringing users a smoother development experience.

Qu Zihe, product manager of Tencent Cloud Cloud Studio Community Edition, first introduced the community version of Cloud Studio. In contrast to Cloud Studio, which currently exists mainly in the form of private space, the community version of Cloud Studio will allow personal applications to be created and shared publicly, allowing others to access them. The community version of the application will be read-only, allowing users to copy, apply references and other operations, but can not directly modify the application content. In the future, we will continue to optimize the community version of the application and add interactive features, such as likes, comments and so on. In addition, qu Zihe further complements the product safety issues discussed by the guests. On the Cloud Studio platform, all workspaces are personal or team private spaces, which can only be viewed by team members, and there is no problem that anyone can access the code in the space and do copy, download and other operations, which is considered from two aspects of the nature of the tool and security.
