CTOnews.com September 21 news, after the release of AV-Comparatives kill soft evaluation, another evaluation agency AV-TEST also released the latest kill soft big competition report. This report is still evaluated from three dimensions: Protection, Performance and Usability.

Despite its popularity in the market, Malwarebytes has the lowest score of 5.5 out of 6 on a protection test compared to other popular anti-malware solutions such as Avast / AVG,Microsoft Defender and Kaspersky.

AV-TEST noted that in May and June 2023 tests, Malwarebytes detection rates were 98.5 per cent and 99.6 per cent, respectively, below the industry average of 99.6 per cent.

In addition, Kaspersky was slow to test some mainstream sites, accounting for 20% of the tests in May and June, compared with an industry average of 14% (the lower the ratio, the better).

Microsoft Defender is poor at "common application installation", with 17% in May 2023 and 21% in June, compared with an industry average of 14%.
