Three "changes" of SDC 2023

Song Guanfu, chairman of Chaotu Software Group, shared the "unchanged" and "change" of SDC 2023 in his opening speech. "unchanged" refers to the original intention of the conference "born for developers", while "change" is reflected in three aspects:

First, AI is more deeply involved in our work and life than ever before, and it will also bring great changes to the field of geographic information. The large model makes us see the greater possibility from professional AI to general AI, and also allows us to see a broader space for the development of spatial intelligence in the future.

Second, data is more important than ever, and so is spatial data. Surveying and mapping geographic information is not only an important strategic data resource, but also a new factor of production. Third, 3D GIS technology is more powerful than ever before. 3D GIS has developed from visual technology to key technology that can support business management. Two-dimensional and three-dimensional integration, BIM+GIS, game engine + GIS, Web3D, have all developed to a more mature stage. How to make good use of the powerful three-dimensional GIS technology to enable the digital transformation of digital government and various industries is also a topic that developers should discuss together.

2 clues and 11 sections enable developers to grow in an all-round way

According to the two organizational clues of space intelligence and products, SDC 2023 has opened 11 sections with a total of 35 reports. GIS experts and senior development engineers have brought a technical feast to developers and received wide attention from practical applications.

Spatial Intelligence is abbreviated as GI, which is the abbreviation of Geospatial Intelligence.
