He believes that the high-quality development of the manufacturing industry is inseparable from the division of labor and cooperation of the global industrial chain, as well as the global consumer market. If enterprises want to build international brands, they must firmly embrace globalization, actively integrate into the global market, and promote domestic and international cycles while participating in the domestic cycle.

The 2023 World Manufacturing Congress is hosted by the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology, the State-owned assets Supervision and Administration Commission of the State Council and the people's Government of Anhui Province. The conference has a total of seven pavilions with an area of 80,000 square meters, with the largest number of exhibitors and exhibition area ever. Exhibits brought by exhibitors cover many fields, such as artificial intelligence, high-end equipment, quantum technology, and so on. Some of the exhibits are on display for the first time.

According to the 2023 semi-annual report released by CTOnews.com, BYD's net profit in the first half of this year was 10.95 billion yuan, up 204.68 percent from the same period last year; revenue from 260.124 billion yuan was up 72.72 percent from the same period last year; and revenue from the automobile business was 208.824 billion yuan, up 91.11 percent from the same period last year.

BYD said that the group's market share of new energy vehicles further expanded to 33.5% in the first half of 2023, an increase of 6.5 percentage points over 2022, continuing to consolidate China's leading position in the new energy vehicle industry, while maintaining the top spot in global sales. Brand influence continues to expand.

The company's five Fudi companies independently control the core components, including three electric systems, gauge-grade semiconductors, lighting, moulds, and so on. In January 2023, the company launched the "Yi Sifang" four-motor platform architecture. can achieve a single wheel drive, braking, forward and backward, representing the leading level of the new energy vehicle motor industry.

In terms of automotive specification semiconductors, BYD Semiconductor has a full-industry chain IDM mode from chip design, wafer manufacturing, module packaging and testing to system-level application testing, and has realized the large-scale application of SiC modules in high-end vehicle motor drive controllers and the technology upgrade of automotive size-level MCU chips from 8-bit to 32-bit.
