CTOnews.com, September 20, according to Chromium's proposal, Google plans to introduce automatic picture-in-picture functionality in Chrome browsers. When users browse video sites such as YouTube and switch to other tabs while the video is playing, Chrome will automatically open the video in a picture-in-picture manner.

CTOnews.com translates the Google developer's proposal as follows: "this proposal adds allow / organize content settings UI for automatic picture-in-picture (AutoPiP) windows. The proposal does not match the existing UI, but provides scaffolding help when building features and UI."

This function is undoubtedly a more practical feature, such as users learning on the YouTube platform, need to switch tags to take some notes or call up the relevant content, then you can automatically switch to picture-in-picture without interrupting the learning experience.
