Professional Video format allows Final Cut Pro, Motion, and Compressor to handle a variety of professional video formats, including Apple ProRes codecs and MXF files.

XF-HEVC is a new generation of coding method, which is based on H.265 and can achieve about twice the compression amount of H.264 coding after being repackaged by Canon. Its file encapsulation format is MXF, which can meet the needs of 4K high picture quality and high compression ratio at the same time, so that XF705 can record UHD video images up to 10bit 4:2:2 on a high-versatile SD card for a long time, but the bit rate is only 160Mbps.
