CTOnews.com, September 20 / PRNewswire-FirstCall-Asianet /-- the US customer satisfaction Index (ACSI) recently released a 2023 research report on electronics and household appliances. Apple's 20-year reign in the field of personal computers, including desktops, laptops and tablets, has been split equally by Samsung.

ACSI randomly interviewed 14000 US users between July 2022 and June 2023, and the combined score of Apple's Mac and iPad experience was 83, three points higher than the average personal computer score of 80 this year and one point higher than Apple's previous years.

But Samsung also rose 2 points in the study, averaging 83 points, tied for first place with Apple. This is the first time since 2003 that Apple has not taken the lead.

Samsung's strong overall performance was helped by a surge in customer satisfaction with its tablet products (Galaxy Tab), which rose 6 percentage points to 85 points.
