CTOnews.com Sept. 19, today, artificial intelligence chat robot Google Bard released the latest update, adding plug-in support for Google applications, including Gmail, Docs, Drive and so on. Google says this is the most powerful version of Bard to date and can improve collaboration efficiency in a variety of languages and countries around the world.

Google Apps plug-ins allow Bard to access and use real-time information from apps such as Maps, YouTube, Hotels and Flights, and can be turned off at any time. Users can quickly select a plug-in by clicking the plug-in icon in the upper-right corner of the Bard interface, or typing "@" plus the name of the plug-in in the prompt box. For example, the user can type "@ Maps" to have Bard display map information, or enter "@ YouTube" to let Bard play the video.

CTOnews.com noted that in addition to plug-in support, Google Bard has added a "public link sharing" feature that allows users to share their conversations with Bard with anyone, and they can continue the conversation on their own devices. In addition, Bard can "double-check" its own answers. There is a "G" button at the bottom of each answer (for Google), which users can click to ask Bard to re-check whether their answer is correct on Google.

Google Bard is currently open to public previews, and users can experience it online for free.
