MSI Z790 MAX

MSI Z790 MAX series motherboards provide considerable power specifications. For example, the flagship MEG Z790 GODLIKE MAX Supergod uses 26-channel 105A intelligent power supply, while the entry-level PRO Z790 Mura MAX WIFI uses 16-way 80A intelligent power supply.

In addition, the Z790 MAX series motherboard also has a new design. All models of the series motherboard support the "Wi-Fi 7" wireless network, doubling the network bandwidth to 320MHz, and the maximum theoretical speed is up to 5.8 Gbps.

In addition, the MAG and above (MEG / MPG) motherboards in the Z790 MAX fully support PCIe 5.0M.2 and are equipped with tool-free installation M.2 frost armor, and the MEG series is equipped with a magnetic design in the M.2 position.

MSI said that all Z790 MAX models of the MEG / MPG series will use the newly launched JAF pins, which will allow users to connect ARGB and fan wires with only one cable.

CTOnews.com noted that MSI unveiled a new USB 4.0 PD100W expansion card at the Computex 2023 computer Show in May this year, which is also installed on the MSI MPG Z790 CARBON MAX WIFI Dark motherboard.

This USB 4.0 PD100W expansion card features an PCIe 4.0x4 interface, provides 2 USB 4.0 and 2 DP 1.4 interfaces, provides connectivity up to 40Gbps, and supports transmission requirements for devices up to 100W power.

MEG series

The new MEG series is available in two models, the MEG Z790 GODLIKE MAX Supergod and the MEG Z790 ACE MAX Ares, which are further optimized and upgraded compared to the previous generation of MEG Z790 motherboards.

The MEG Z790 MAX Series supports up to 26 (105A) + 2 smart power and features aluminum fin VRM fins, U-shaped VRM radiators, cross heat pipes and 7W / mk heat conduction gaskets, as well as 128GB/s PCIe5.0 and M.2.

The MEG Z790 GODLIKE MAX Supergod and the MEG Z790 ACE MAX Ares also use tool-free M.2 frost armor, and the Supergod also has a special 4.5-inch M-Vision Dragon Soul dynamic panel that displays system information and one-click overclocking.

MPG series

The MPG series includes three new models: MPG Z790 CARBON MAX WIFI Dark, MPG Z790 EDGE TI MAX WIFI Blade Titanium and MPG B760M EDGE TI WIFI Blade Titanium, all with tool-free installation M.2 frost armor.

This series motherboard provides intelligent power up to 19 (105A) + 1x1, and is equipped with extended heat sink with heat pipe, PCIe 5.0slot and Wi-Fi 7 wireless network.

In addition, the MPG Z790 EDGE TI MAX WIFI Blade has upgraded its M.2 to PCIe 5.0, while the MPG Z790 CARBON MAX WIFI Diablo will be equipped with an additional USB 4.0 PD100W expansion card.

In addition, MSI also launched a B760 motherboard product belonging to the MPG series-MPG B760M EDGE TI WIFI blade titanium motherboard.

This motherboard uses 12 (75A) + 1x 1 intelligent power supply, is equipped with extended heat sink, supports PCIe 5.0slots, tool-free M.2 frost armor, and provides 3 M.2 PCIe4.0 slots.

It also provides interfaces such as USB Gen 3.2 Gen 2 x2 Type-C and supports 2.5G wired networks and Wi-Fi 6e.

MAG series

The MAG series includes three models: the MAG Z790 TOMAHAWK MAX WIFI Tomahawk missile motherboard, the MAG B760M MORTAR WIFI II mortar and the MAG B760M MORTAR II mortar.

The MAG Z790 TOMAHAWK MAX WIFI Tomahawk missile uses 16 (90A) + 1mm 1 intelligent power supply, as well as a dual 8 Pin CPU power supply interface. There is only one new product in the PRO series: the PRO Z790 Mura MAX WIFI motherboard. This product uses 16 (80A) + 1x1 intelligent power supply, with PCIe 5.0slots, M.2 frost armor, USB 3.2Gen2 x2 Type-C interface, 2.5G network port and Wi-Fi 7 wireless network.
