CTOnews.com, September 19 (Xinhua)-- according to the latest report released by market research firm IDC, it is estimated that game PC shipments in 2023 will drop 10.5% year on year, but game display shipments will increase 10.8% year on year.

CTOnews.com learned from the report that game display sales regained positive momentum in the second quarter of this year after five quarters of year-on-year decline. The improvement of the cost structure and the continuous attention of the industry mean that the game display will have a stronger recovery.

Regular game monitors currently sell for just over $300, and upgrading the monitor is seen by many players as an economical way to improve the game experience.

IDC predicts that game PC shipments will improve in the next few years: game PC will grow at a compound annual growth rate (CAGR) of 4.6% from 2023 to 2027, while game displays will grow at a compound annual growth rate of 7.7%.
