CTOnews.com Sept. 19, in a press release today, Microsoft announced the introduction of Python Editor in Excel Labs, allowing users to write and edit Python formulas in Excel using a dedicated code editor.

Microsoft said that this is currently an experimental feature, has invited some users to participate in the test, hoping to collect user feedback to further improve. Microsoft says that by introducing the Python Editor feature, it can help users use more complex and longer Python code snippets, and enhance the Python experience through an optimized editing interface.

CTOnews.com quoted Microsoft press release, Microsoft introduced Python Editor to help users see the code execution process and result output, the editor also uses the same step-by-step as Visual Studio, supporting many of the features that Visual Studio Code provides for Python development, such as IntelliSense, formatting, code completion, and syntax highlighting.
