In August, the industry updated a total of 215 features, down from the previous month. This year's OTA upgrade shows a rapid development trend, reflected in two points: more independent brands to join the ranks of OTA, intelligent driving speed development.

In terms of new power brands, a total of 72 items were updated this month, which continued to decline compared with last month. Compared with last year, the number of smart driving upgrades increased slightly, and the number of smart cockpit upgrades increased significantly.

A total of 139 items were updated by independent brands, which was basically the same as the previous month. In terms of intelligent driving, only the emerging brands of traditional manufacturers such as Zhiji, Feifan, and polar fox have developed relatively fast.

Only Cadillac pushes the upgrade for the joint venture brand. In the past two years, the development of joint venture and luxury brands in OTA is still slow, and only a few brands have done well in localization.

In addition, the federation also announced the car companies that will soon carry out OTA upgrades, including Baojun Cloud, Harvard Mowl Dragon / MAX, Wei Brand Blue Mountain / Mocha, Zhiji, Nezha S / GT and other models, which will be updated as early as this quarter and no later than the second quarter of next year, and some car companies will bring their own large model applications "on the car" in the form of OTA.
