CTOnews.com Sept. 18, Panasonic recently announced on its official website a SC-GNW10 neck-hanging speaker, an upgraded version of the 2021 SPEC-GN01, which will be available on the Japanese market on November 17.

According to reports, the neck-mounted speaker is equipped with 38mm unit 4 speaker stereo, which is 1.25x larger than that of the previous generation of loudspeaker units. It supports the use of Windows PC application "SOUNDSLAYER Engine", and the equalizer can be customized according to the preferences of each player.

In addition, Panasonic SC-GNW10 uses a low-latency dedicated wireless connection capable of transmitting 2.4GHz audio signals, and further improves the voice chat function, equipped with left and right microphones, improves the receiving area and radio capacity, and enhances the performance of echo cancellation and noise cancellation.

Panasonic SC-GNW10 is also equipped with three audio output modes, including RPG mode, FPS mode and voice enhancement mode, to facilitate different gamers to choose the right scene.

Panasonic said the neck-mounted speaker uses an ergonomic shape, avoids the clavicle and trapezius muscles, and can be comfortably worn for a long time. Both ends are also equipped with LED lighting, which claims to "show the heartbeat feeling before the start of the game".

Panasonic SC-GNW10 is expected to be unveiled at the 2023 Tokyo Gaming Show. CTOnews.com checked the parameter table and found that the speaker weighs 403g, officially lasts 9 hours, uses USB-C interface to charge, can be fully charged for 4 hours, and supports PC, PS5 / PS4 and Switch.
