CTOnews.com notes that Furmark is designed to conduct stress tests on GPU, which testers generally use to determine the maximum temperature (roaster) that GPU can reach.

FurMark 2.0 leverages the OpenGL / Vulkan graphic API and offers three predefined benchmark options: 1080p, 1440p, and 2160p resolution. Users can select test parameters by selecting the desired resolution, full screen or window mode, and whether the tool should display the screen interface.

Furmark 2 has built-in GPU-Shark and GPU-Z tools to provide comprehensive graphics card information; for GPU stress testing, users can also view MSI Kombustor or OCCT software. At the same time, FurMark sets up a ranking to submit results and compare them with other users and hardware configurations.
