The vivo Y17s is equipped with a 6.56in IPS LCD water drop screen with a resolution of 720x 1612 pixels, a refresh rate of 60Hz, a NTSC color gamut of 83%, a brightness of 480nit, and a pixel density of 269ppi. It is equipped with an 8 megapixel selfie camera, a 5000 megapixel main camera and a 2 megapixel portrait camera.

The vivo Y17s carries MediaTek's Helio G85 chip, 6 GB of LPDDR4x memory and 128 GB of eMMC 5.1 storage, as well as a microSD card slot that runs FunTouch OS 13 based on Android 13.

The Y17s has a built-in 5000mAh battery that supports 15W charging and provides 19.67 hours of online video playback time. In other aspects, the phone supports dual-card dual-standby, dual-frequency Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 5.0, GPS, USB-C port, 3.5mm headphone Jack and IP54-level waterproof and dustproof.

The vivo Y17s, which sells for S $199 in Singapore, is available in two colors, sparkling purple and forest green, and is expected to go on sale in other Asian markets in the coming days.
