CTOnews.com previously reported that foreign media Ars Technica said Apple's iPhone 15 and iPhone 15 Pro models are equipped with "fully standard" USB-C ports without any restrictions on cables or accessories. Like the iPad and Mac with USB-C ports, the four iPhone 15 series are compatible with existing USB-C cables, chargers and related accessories.

The media also pointed out that it is still possible for Apple to launch a "Made for iPhone" certification program for iPhone accessories on USB-C ports, but uncertified devices can also be used on iPhone 15 series models.
