According to CTOnews.com Sept. 17, the Google Sheets booking tracker created after the launch of Tesla Cybertruck in 2019 shows that Tesla Cybertruck has more than 2 million bookings.

CTOnews.com learned from the table that among single-motor, dual-motor, three-motor and four-motor models, dual motors are the most popular, followed by three motors in second place. Bookings for single-motor and four-motor models were significantly reduced, accounting for only 8.1% and 8.7%, respectively.

At the same time, the table also shows the data of booking users with fully autonomous driving (FSD) added to the purchase of Cybertruck, accounting for more than 67 per cent of total bookings.

It is worth noting that users can cancel the reservation at any time and only need a refundable deposit of $100 (CTOnews.com Note: currently about 728 yuan) for booking Cybertruck.

Franz von Holzhausen, head of Tesla's automotive design, recently revealed that some Tesla employees do not like the existing Cybertruck design and are secretly designing alternatives.

It is not clear whether the new alternative version will be available and what design will be adopted. The source said that many design engineers advised Musk, but there was no Musk's approval. Musk pushed ahead with existing projects.
