Shulou(Shulou.com)11/24 Report--

Thank CTOnews.com netizens for holding their ground for the delivery of clues! CTOnews.com Sept. 16 news, according to CCTV News Channel, Comprehensive Channel reported today, China's highest 750kV ultra-high voltage substation-spruce substation has now been officially put into operation. The substation is located in Tongde County, Qinghai Province, with an elevation of 3365 meters.

According to reports, the substation is an important power point of the Qinghai-Henan UHVDC transmission project, raising the voltage level from 330kV to 750kV, thus increasing the maximum transmission power by 3-4 times. after putting into operation, clean electric energy such as Mar block, Ningmut, Erdo, Guoluo and Tongde area can be sent out, thus providing a strong power guarantee for the "Qinghai-Henan DC" project.

In addition, this DC transmission project is also the first long-distance transmission channel specially built for the transmission of clean energy in the world. It passes through Qinghai, Gansu, Shaanxi and Henan provinces, with a total length of 1578 kilometers.

CTOnews.com learned from CCTV news that the transmission project can supply 40 billion kWh of clean electricity to central China each year and convert 1x8 of Henan's electricity consumption into clean electricity. The above figures are equivalent to replacing 18 million tons of raw coal and also play a significant role in reducing emissions: 14000 tons of soot, 90,000 tons of sulfur dioxide and 29.6 million tons of carbon dioxide.
