CTOnews.com Sept. 16 news, the SteamDeck handset officially announced on the X platform (formerly Twitter) this morning that SteamOS 3.5 version update has been pushed for the preview channel. CTOnews.com summarizes the update as follows:

This update provides improvements and fixes to Steam Deck's default color rendering, new display color settings, automatic installation of external hard drives, and a number of other features.

This update also brings new graphics drivers, which will have many performance and functional improvements. The V Society said that this will optimize the performance of the Star Sky game.

In addition, this update brings variable refresh rate (VRR) and HDR support for Steam Deck screens and supported monitors, and users can now enable HDR; if they have compatible monitors. If they have compatible USB-C adapters, they can now enable VRR.

In terms of details, the update also improves the stability of Bluetooth connections (especially when using multiple handles), improves the speed of recovery from sleep, and updates some desktop widgets.

The Steam Deck is a portable handset developed by Valve. The GPU; chip codenamed "Aerith" using Zen 2 architecture and RDNA 2 architecture is equipped with Steam OS and is available for installation of Linux,2022 on February 25, 2000, starting at $399.
