CTOnews.com Sept. 16 news, if you have participated in the Windows Insider project and choose to switch to Canary and Dev channels, you will be reminded today that the current preview version has expired.

CTOnews.com note: in its update log released in mid-August this year, Microsoft said that the Canary channel started with the Build 25931 preview and the Dev channel started with the Build 23526 preview, and the expiration date was adjusted to September 15, 2024.

Users who are still running the old preview version of Win11, from Win11 Build 23403 to Build 23521 from Win11 Build 25182 to 25926, should receive a full-screen reminder today that the current version has expired, which means that Microsoft will no longer provide critical security patches and important fixes. Users are recommended to update as soon as possible.
