The new car is positioned as the "intelligent electric sedan SUV", which is an updated version of the model of the same name launched in 2020, and is also developed based on the NT2.0 platform of Weilai. The platform already has five new models: ET7, ES7, EC7, ET5 / ET5T, as well as three replacement models of Weilai ES8, ES6 and EC6.

The new car adopts Coupe sedan body design, the front face is equipped with unique split Double Dash daily running lights, the side adopts slip back design, the tail adopts 23 °super motion anti-tangent angle design and is equipped with dual-mode active lifting tail wing, the whole taillight group adopts 286 LED, and the length of the lamp belt reaches 1.35m. On the whole, the shape of the new car is quite similar to the larger-than-its "larger" EC7, and somewhat like the ET5 sedan that has been pulled up.
