TCL Photovoltaic low-carbon Campus: creating and symbiotic low-carbon samples

In 2022, TCL launched the "TCL Photovoltaic low carbon Campus" project, which combines industrial and technological advantages to donate photovoltaic roof power generation systems and 25 years of power generation benefits to rural schools, including project schools located near protected animal habitats such as giant pandas and crested ibis in Qinling Mountains, Shaanxi Province. " The TCL Photovoltaic low-carbon Campus project provides a platform for local students to learn about ecological environment protection, understand the concept of sustainable development, and plant seeds to protect the green waters and mountains of their hometown. At present, version 1.0 of "TCL Photovoltaic low carbon Campus" has been built in 19 rural schools across the country to achieve grid-connected power generation, with an estimated total power generation of 3302 million kilowatt-hours and a reduction of 28000 tons of carbon dioxide emissions, which is equivalent to planting 1.6 million trees.

In August 2023, version 2.0 of TCL Photovoltaic low-carbon Campus was completed in No.1 Middle School in Hohhot, Inner Mongolia Autonomous region. Under the new mode, TCL public welfare will carry out customized photovoltaic low-carbon campus construction for urban schools by the way of social value investment. The photovoltaic system covers more diverse scenarios. At the same time, we will promote photovoltaic environmental protection education, build photovoltaic classrooms, build real-time monitoring platforms, and carry out practical courses such as photovoltaic popular science halls and visits to photovoltaic power stations to help build a "zero-carbon campus" in all directions.

TCL Smart classroom: promoting Educational Equity with the Power of Science and Technology
