CTOnews.com September 15 news, modular notebook manufacturer Framework released a new Laptop 13 notebook with R7 7840U and R5 7640U processors in May, and today issued a press release saying it has begun mass production.

CTOnews.com learned from a press release that Laptop 13 notebooks will be available in 13 countries around the world, doubling capacity through adjustments to SMT (motherboard surface mount production) and FATP (final assembly, testing and packaging of notebook computers). The team also said it had moved into a new and larger logistics warehouse and expressed confidence in clearing the backlog of orders as soon as possible.

The team also said in its blog post that several key issues on Laptop 13 notebooks have been fixed, such as the impact of the placement of expansion cards on activity and standby power consumption, and the lack of RZ 616 WiFi module drivers in Win11 systems.
