CTOnews.com, Sept. 15 (Xinhua)-- Apple recently told its after-sales customer service not to provide any information if it receives inquiries from consumers about excessive radiation levels of iPhone 12, according to Bloomberg.

CTOnews.com quoted Bloomberg as saying that Apple has advised its after-sales customer service and technical support team to be consistent if they receive a reply from users that "there is no more content to share at the moment" and make it clear that refunds are not supported two weeks after purchasing the phone.

These customer services will uniformly inform consulting customers that all Apple products have undergone rigorous testing to ensure their safety and have been certified by a number of international organizations.

After testing iPhone 12, the French radiation monitoring agency ANFR found that the phone's specific absorptivity (SAR) was slightly higher than the legal limit and informed Apple to fix the radiation problem through software updates.

Apple responded to allegations that the French vice minister of digital department accused iPhone 12 of excessive radiation, saying that the iPhone 12 model has been certified by a number of international agencies and is in full compliance with international radiation standards.

Apple said in a statement that iPhone 12, launched in 2020, had been certified by a number of international agencies to meet global radiation standards, and that the company had provided French institutions with several results from Apple and third-party laboratories proving that the phone met the standards and questioned the agency's findings.
