CTOnews.com Sept. 14, Motorola launched the Edge 40 Pro in April and the Edge 40 a month later. Today, the company unveiled Motorola Edge 40 Neo, a new member of the Edge 40 series.

Motorola Edge 40 Neo is equipped with MediaTek Tianji 7030 chip, with the highest 12GB LPDDR4X memory, the highest 256GB storage space, and pre-installed Android 13 system to support Moto Connect and Ready For functions.

The screen is a 6.55in FHD 10-bit pOLED curved screen with a refresh rate of 144Hz, a touch sampling rate of 360Hz, a DCI-P3 gamut coverage and a peak brightness of 1300 nits. The screen also features HDR10 + authentication, off-screen fingerprint recognition and a central punched 3200-megapixel selfie camera.

There is a flash on the back and two cameras, a 5000-megapixel main camera (with optical anti-shake) and a 1300-megapixel ultra-wide-angle camera (with a viewing angle of 120 °), the latter also has autofocus and can take macro photos.

The Motorola Edge 40 Neo is available in three colors: PANTONE Black Beauty, PANTONE soothing Ocean and PANTONE Carnier Bay. The black version is made of acrylic, while the other two colors are made of vegan leather, which is slightly thicker than the black version.

Other highlights of the Motorola Edge 40 Neo include IP68 waterproof and dustproof grades, 5G network support and NFC capabilities. The new machine is also equipped with stereo speakers and Dolby panoramic sound technology, which supports 68W fast charging when the battery capacity is 5000 Ma. Motorola said the included 68W power adapter could charge 5000 Ma / h batteries from zero to 50 per cent in 15 minutes.

Motorola also said that to demonstrate its commitment to a sustainable future, the smartphone uses 100% plastic-free packaging, soy ink and 60% recycled materials.

The Motorola Edge 40 Neo will be available in Europe, the Middle East and Africa from today with a starting price of 399 euros (CTOnews.com Note: currently about 3112 yuan).
