CTOnews.com, September 14 (Xinhua)-sledgehammer Studios (Sledgehammer Games) today released screenshots of multiplayer maps of call of Duty: modern Warfare III 2023, a replica of the 2009 game call of Duty 6: modern Warfare 2.

In addition to these old maps, Activision also confirmed that it will release at least 12 original innovative maps (6v6), including three 6v6 maps each in the first and second seasons.

Sledgehammer Studio Art Director Matt Abbott claimed that the studio is faithfully modernizing the 16 "groundbreaking multiplayer game maps," and studio designers are demanding that every map from Modern Warfare 2 (2009) be reproduced in Modern Warfare III. His colleague Zach also stressed the importance of letting players experience these classic maps in new ways.
