In addition, Fuji also released a new development roadmap for the GF interchangeable lens of the GFX series of mirrorless digital cameras, which adapts to the picture sensor, which is about 1.7 times the size of the 35mm full-frame sensor.

CTOnews.com found that two new lenses were added to the new roadmap, including a fixed focus lens covering the ultra-telephoto focal length of the GF series and an electric zoom lens for video shooting, bringing the total number of GF lenses to 20.

One of the ultra-telephoto fixed-focus lenses, with a focal length of 500mm (35mm 396mm equivalent focal length), is expected to be available in 2024. The introduction of this lens increases the telephoto range of the GF lens from 250mm to 500mm, which can be installed with an extender to further expand the coverage to 700mm (35mm frame 554mm equivalent focal length).

The other is a zoom lens, which covers the standard range of electric lenses and is suitable for video shooting. Aperture, focus and even zoom can be electronically controlled and is expected to be available in 2025.
