The new car is Volvo's smallest SUV and electric car to date, as well as the brand's first advanced small SUV and its fourth all-electric model.

From the perspective of the declaration information, the new car continues to be put into production by Zhejiang Haoqing Automobile Manufacturing Co., Ltd., with 4233/1838/1555mm in length, width and height, 2650mm in wheelbase and 1885kg in quality. According to the information provided by the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology, the new car will be equipped with standard rear radar, front radar and side radar, and can be equipped with two-color body and panoramic sky screen in appearance.

Overall, the new car uses some of the design languages of EX90, such as front face design, taillight styling and some body contours. The latter locates the medium and large pure electric SUV, which has been released before, but there is no further news for a long time.

In terms of power, the models that have completed the declaration this time provide two kinds of powertrain as follows:

Single motor version with a maximum power of 200kW; batteries are available in two forms: lithium iron phosphate and ternary lithium

Dual motor version with motor power of 115kW and 200kW respectively

Among them, the dual-motor model can achieve acceleration of 0-60 mph in 3.4 seconds, and the 100km acceleration performance is expected to be similar to this figure.

CTOnews.com previously reported that the new car made its world debut on June 7, priced at $34950 (currently about 249000 yuan) in the United States and about 36000 euros (currently about 274000 yuan) in Europe.

Powered by overseas models, the single-motor model has a battery capacity of 64kWh and provides a range of 275 miles (442.57 km), while the dual-motor model has the same battery capacity but has a range of 265 miles (426.48 km).

In Europe and other markets, Volvo will also offer an entry-level single-motor version with a 268hp rear motor and a 49-kWh LFP battery that is expected to have a range of about 200mph (about 321.87 km).
