Thanks to CTOnews.com netizens Wa pure water, rain and snow for the delivery of clues! CTOnews.com Sept. 14, the acting director of the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) said that the agency will approve SpaceX Starship's launch license as early as next month.

"We are having good cooperation and discussions with them. Our team is working together and we are optimistic that we can do it sometime next month," Polly Trotenberg, FAA's acting FAA director, told reporters.

In addition, SpaceX requires environmental approval from the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service (USFWS).

CTOnews.com previously reported that FAA last week conducted a technical investigation into SpaceX's April Starship rocket test launch and said the company needed to correct 63 problems.

FAA said that the end of the accident investigation does not mean that the launch can be resumed immediately on the Starship. In order to meet all regulatory requirements, SpaceX must correct the above problems and apply to FAA for permission before the next launch.

On April 20 this year, SpaceX successfully launched the Starship rocket from the Texas launch pad, but the test mission failed and exploded and self-destructed about four minutes after the flight.

With the end of the FAA investigation, SpaceX Starship is one step closer to going into space for the first time.

Under FAA rules, the space company Musk needs to complete these "problem correction" actions before obtaining a new Starship launch license.

SpaceX must obtain a modified FAA license to launch, which involves sometimes lengthy scrutiny of Starship's flight trajectory, accident probability and other factors affecting public safety in the vicinity.
