The appearance of the 2025 CT5 is consistent with the recently updated XT4, and slender horizontal headlights are now connected to vertical LED daytime driving lights. On the CT5 Sport model, the decorations are black and equipped with a black mesh grille. The 2025 CT5 also adds two new colors: deep space metal and typhoon metal.

CTOnews.com noticed that the biggest change in the new car was in the cockpit, with a new 33-inch LED screen across the dashboard. Like the XT4, Lyriq and gasoline versions of Escalade, the screen bends slightly toward the driver and has a touch function on both sides of the steering wheel. To keep the 2025 CT5 up-to-date, the new car also offers optional 5G Wi-Fi hotspots and a set of Google apps built into the infotainment system, including Google Maps and Google Assistant. Amazon's Alexa voice assistant is also integrated into the system. At the same time, the system also supports Apple CarPlay and Android Auto.

The 2025 CT5 also adds more standard driving aids, including blind area steering assistance, automatic emergency braking at intersections, traffic sign recognition, and buyers can buy the Super Cruise system, GM's highway driverless system.

The powertrain of the CT5 remains unchanged, with a basic turbocharged 2.0L four-cylinder engine that provides 237hp and 258lb-ft torque, while the upgrade to a twin-turbo 3.0L VMI 6 brings 335hp and 405lb-ft torque. The new CT5 is still standard rear wheel drive, but offers all-wheel drive, matching a 10-speed automatic transmission.

The 2025 CT5 will begin assembly at the Grand River plant in Lansing, Michigan, in the spring of 2024, and Cadillac says pricing will be announced later. Cadillac also hinted that new models of the high-performance CT5-V and CT5-V Blackwing will be unveiled later.
