While following the current technical scheme of DC charging interface in China and ensuring the general compatibility of new and old charging interfaces, the new standard increases the maximum charging current from 250 amperes to 800 amperes and charging power to 800 kilowatts. It increases the related technical requirements such as active cooling and temperature monitoring, and optimizes and improves the test methods such as mechanical performance, locking device, service life and so on. It is helpful to further improve the environmental adaptability, safety and reliability of the conduction charging connection device, and meet the practical needs of DC low-power and high-power charging at the same time.
